Egypt: leading opposition website blocked

According to the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information, the website of the leading Egyptian Movement for ChangeKefaya, has been blocked in Egypt since May 4 by the government-owned Internet service provider TE Data, Egypt's largest ISP:

Many of Kefaya website visitors were surprised of their disability to browse the site during the call on for the past 4th of May Strike, whether through T-Data or “Link” company, while Link has pulled back blocking the site later, but T-Data that belongs to the Egyptian Government continued blocking the site until today, leaving the internet users unable to get access to it, to be a cheek irony, that the time when the website of the most important political movement in Egypt is blocked coincides with the hosting the largest telecommunication conference in Africa- Africa Telecoms Conference.
